Knowing that a loved one is slowly nearing their end of life is usually a hard pill for many of us to swallow regardless of the circumstances. Our skilled and experienced caregivers are not just their for your loved one’s daily need. We are often there to provide all the much needed emotional, spiritual and mental support to the families during that difficult time
Our caregivers would be there every step of the way to make that transition not just peaceful and comfortable but we do preserve their right to dignity, confidentiality and privacy. Our caregivers have been trained to care for our clients just like their own family and loved one. We keep family updated with any change in client’s condition and consents to all their wishes and demand that are within our scope of practice for a peaceful and comfortable transition.
- Some of the services we provide at this period include:
- Activities of daily living as much as client can tolerate. This may include bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, perineal care and incontinence care.
- Meal preparation as per physicians order
- Hourly turns and repositioning to prevent bed ulcers
- Light housekeeping to ensure a clean & healthy environment
- Companionship as needed
- Spiritual support as per family request
- Medication reminders
- And many more that fall within our scope of practice
- Documentation and charts of client condition
- Changing bed sheets and maintaining a hygienic environment
Whatever the need could be at this time, our team of specially trained caregivers are there to give their best and ensure that both the family and the client receive the most quality of care one can provide. We are open to both short and long term services.
